Aadithyaa Lakeside resort is the labour of love of Ashok Kumar, a first generation entrepreneur with abiding interest in heritage tourist resorts. A construction engineer with more than 20 years experience in property development, his design and landscaping evokes the freedom of outdoors within the comforts of the cottage.
The location of this resort was so chosen to offer guests peace and calm without being entirely cut off. The nearest settlement with all the rustic charms of a Kerala village is just a canoe ride away. You can also go cycling. Spread over three acres, the resort housing 10 independent cottages, took a year to take shape.
Comfort of the guests has been the pre-dominant thought in the design of the interiors. The colour pattern is soft and yet eye-catching. The interiors of the cottages are in keeping with the native way of doing up homes. Wood and cane furniture together with brass ware serve to heighten this feel. Hindu mythological characters come alive in the wall paintings. The cottages afford a brilliant view of the lake and have a well defined walk-way that opens into a lush landscaped yard, highlighted with pebbled designs.
